All hours start and stop from home, as soon as you start the van.\n \nBenefits for the for the Roadside Technician role\n\nOvertime – 300 overtime hours per year equates to an extra £12,000 per annum.\nBonus scheme.\n23 days plus bank holidays (rising to 25 with service).\nUp to 6.5% matched pension contributions.\nLife Insurance cover up to 4x your salary.\nAccess to a broad range of career progression opportunities and industry leading training.\nColleague share scheme.\nCar salary sacrifice scheme – includes electric vehicle options after 12 months.\nWellbeing support 24/7.\nFree breakdown cover for your household. \nJob Responsibilities for the Roadside Technician role\n\nAttend roadside breakdowns and assess vehicle faults quickly and accurately.\nCarry out mechanical and electrical repairs at the roadside, including battery replacements, wheel changes, and minor engine fixes.\nUse diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine repair options.\nProvide temporary solutions when full repair isn’t possible, ensuring member mobility.\nAdvise members clearly on next steps, including recovery if needed.\nWork safely and efficiently in varied environments and conditions. \nWhat you’ll need to a be considered for the Roadside Technician role\n\nMust have a minimum of Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair or ideally Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent)\nMust have a minimum 2-year post-qualification hands on experience with vehicles.
